Caroline Estey King
Senior Associate

Caroline King brings to MCL Consulting over ten years of practical, hands-on experience in Philadelphia's non-profit community with special expertise in strategic planning, capital campaigns and major gift fundraising for a variety of non-profit organizations.

Caroline's particular areas of consulting expertise include major donor and volunteer relations, membership and annual fund campaigns, Board and volunteer management and training, strategic planning, government relations and development communications. Caroline has coordinated numerous annual funds, special gift initiatives, and capital campaigns and has planned and implemented both large and small special events.

Prior to joining MCL Consulting, Caroline has served for several years as a part-time independent consultant working primarily with Keystone Hospice on its $8.5 million capital campaign. During her career in non-profit development, Caroline served as Director of Development for Lankenau Hospital, an acute care hospital that is part of the Main Line Health system, for six years. Her prior development positions were with Hahnemann Hospital and the national headquarters of Big Brothers/Big Sisters of America in Philadelphia.

Caroline holds a bachelor's degree in History from Carleton College. She is currently the Chair of the Development Committee at Youth Services, Inc. and has served on the Boards of Maternity Care Coalition and the Chestnut Hill Community Association.
