Strategic Team Member

Margaret King (Marge) is the President of InfoRich Group, Inc., a management-consulting firm, which provides cost-effective fundraising support to nonprofit organizations particularly in the areas of board development, marketing, prospect research, and grant writing.

Marge has extensive experience in the nonprofit sector and has been part of the executive management team for two internationally recognized nonprofit institutions. Additionally, she is a highly-skilled researcher who began using subscription-based databases services for research purposes during the mid-1980s. Prior to establishing InfoRich Group, Marge was the Director of Advancement and Corporate Secretary at the Chemical Heritage Foundation (CHF). While at CHF she organized and developed CHF's Heritage Council, an advisory board composed of industry leaders from across the United States. Recently she has helped Delaware County Community College organize and develop an advisory board for its Entrepreneurial Initiative.

Currently, Marge serves as a Board member for the Delaware Valley Science Council. She is a member of the adjunct faculty at Delaware County Community College where she teaches business and fundraising courses and is an instructor for the Essentials of Fundraising program offered by the Association of Fundraising Professionals, Greater Philadelphia Chapter. Marge is a regular volunteer for Why Not Prosper, a nonprofit residential rehabilitation program for women ex-offenders. She served on the International Centre for Diffraction Data Board of Director's Long Range Planning Committee during the mid-1990s. Additionally, she was a member of the National Science Foundation's Macromolecular Structure Database Advisory Panel from 1995 to 1996, which evaluated grant proposals.

Marge earned a BS from Cabrini College, Radnor, Pennsylvania, and a MBA from St. Joseph's University, Philadelphia along with completing post-graduate work at Harvard University's Kennedy School of Government, Cambridge, MA. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and the Association of Independent Information Professionals.
