Who We Are
Jen Weikert
Vice President
Jen Weikert brings to MCL Consulting over ten years of practical, hands-on experience in the Delaware Valley's non-profit community with special expertise in fundraising and management of small to medium sized non-profit organizations, helping them to create and grow successful development programs.
Jen's areas of consulting expertise include foundation research and grant writing, budget preparation, non-profit management, donor and volunteer relations, membership and annual fund campaigns, Board and volunteer management and training, strategic planning, development communications, campaign implementation, and start-up fundraising. Jen has coordinated numerous annual and special gift initiatives, local media campaigns and has planned and implemented both small and large special events.
Prior to joining MCL Consulting, Jen served as Executive Director of the YWCA of Philadelphia. While at the YWCA of Philadelphia, she helped to stabilize the organization, grow and retain the Board of Directors, reinvigorate stagnate fundraising and programmatic initiatives, enhance visibility and meet evolving requirements from the National YWCA. Jen has also held development positions at a variety of non-profit organizations including Women's Way, Laurel House, and the Pennsylvania Prison Society in Philadelphia.
Jen holds a bachelor's degree in English from La Salle University and a master's degree in Women's Studies from the National University of Ireland at Cork. She is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and is currently pursuing a certificate in fundraising at the University of Pennsylvania. Jen is a member of the Advisory Board of the Women's Center at Community College of Philadelphia, and is an instructor in the Women's Studies Program at Temple University.
