Who We Are
Carla E. Williams Prospect Researcher
Strategic Team Member
Throughout the past twelve years, Carla Williams has provided detailed research on individuals, prominent families, corporations and foundations under the ethical and research guidelines of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement.
Carla has worked with a variety of non-profit organizations, demonstrating her skills at collecting, analyzing and transforming raw data into a functional format that is customized to the specific needs of each non-profit organization in order to help them increase their prospect gift earnings. She is skilled at utilizing online services (Dialog, Lexis-Nexis, Wealth Engine, Prospect Research Online, and GuideStar), CD-ROMs, and a host of reference books and Internet sites to help ensure that the information obtained is accurate and appropriate for each organization.
Carla's career began as a Research Associate at Fox Chase Cancer Center in Philadelphia, PA. Within three years, she became the Assistant Director of Research for Hahnemann University. Following Hahneman's merger with Allegheny University of the Health Sciences in 1994, Carla served as the sole researcher for the eight entities with the system, for more than a year, until another researcher could be hired.
Carla's knowledge and understanding helped develop other prospect researchers and development personnel while she served as a past president of the Delaware Valley Chapter of the Association of Professional Researchers for Advancement (APRA).
