Client Services
MCL Consulting provides experienced fundraising counsel to non-profit
organizations that need assistance in starting or enhancing their
development programs. We work in partnership with our clients in
a practical, cost-effective manner.
All projects are directed by MCL Consulting's president, Mary C.
Lizzul, who has over twenty years of successful development and
management experience. As needed, a team of associates and strategic
partners helps to provide clients with a full range of fundraising
services tailored to meet an organization's unique goals and challenges.

Conduct development assessments to help determine
the strengths and weaknesses of your organization and how
you should structure your development program, Board, and
external relations.

Provide program evaluation and strategic planning
for your overall fundraising program – including annual
giving, major gifts, planned giving, foundation and corporate
relations, and special events.

Plan and implement start-up fundraising programs.
|

Provide on-site development counsel to help you start
a new fundraising program, help you during staff transition,
or help junior staff to grow your fundraising program to more
sophisticated levels.

Conduct campaign feasibility or planning studies,
which include a plan of action for major gift fundraising
over three years.

Plan and implement multi-year campaigns or special
fundraising initiatives.
|
|
Plan and implement annual appeals and special projects.
|
|
Train staff, Board members and volunteers on how to
identify, cultivate and solicit potential donors.

|
Write case statements, annual reports, and
other development materials. (We can also partner with associates
and vendors to produce those materials.) |

Provide foundation research and proposal writing.

|
Provide strategic fundraising counsel on a periodic
or long-term basis.
|
We follow the professional and ethical standards of the Association
of Fundraising Professionals, the Council for the Advancement &
Support of Education, and the National Committee on Planned Giving.
We are registered with the Pennsylvania Department of State, Bureau
of Charitable Organizations as well as with the New Jersey Office
of Charities Registration as professional fundraising counsel.
